Responsibilities
- Lead by example with hands-on code development while guiding system design and architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain robust systems (monolithic and microservices), including commerce transactions, content delivery, and user personalization
- Ensure code quality, system scalability, and security in all solutions
- Conduct thorough, high-standard code reviews to maintain best practices across the team
- Make sound architectural decisions that balance ideal solutions with business needs and timelines
- Coach engineers of all levels, helping them develop both technical skills and product thinking
- Work closely with Product, Design, QA, and other departments to deliver impactful features quickly
- Help define, refine, and improve engineering processes to maximize team velocity and clarity

Job requirements
- 5+ years of backend or full-stack engineering experience
- 2+ years leading or mentoring engineers in a team setting
- Strong knowledge of system design, including microservices, performance tuning, monitoring, and secure architecture
