Software Development Engineer in Test

Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

Perform white box testing and black box testing to ensure code quality and functionality. Design, develop, and execute automation scripts using open-source tools (e.g., Cypress). Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs.

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved. Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs. Collaborate with internal teams (developers & product managers) to identify system requirements.

Monitor debugging processes and analyze results. Investigate the root cause of issues and propose solutions. Track QA metrics (e.g., defect density, bug leakage, open defects).

Stay up-to-date with new testing tools, frameworks, and strategies.
