Socium - Teams Done Differently is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Mobile Engineer to lead a mobile app project for an agricultural technology platform. The role owns the app from architecture to deployment, prioritizing offline-first functionality for field teams with intermittent connectivity and building an offline-first solution for teams operating in environments with limited or no internet connectivity. Work spans React Native, TypeScript, Node.js, React, and PostgreSQL, with full ownership of features from backend to mobile deployment.
This is an opportunity to own a mobile application from the ground up and influence mobile architecture from scratch.

Responsibilities
- Build and launch a React Native app for iOS and Android, from architecture to app store releases.
- Design local storage, synchronization, retry mechanisms, conflict resolution, and offline data management.
- Develop map-based features using MapLibre, GPS, camera, and photo capture.
- Design APIs, database models, authentication, and permissions with Node.js, TypeScript, Prisma, and PostgreSQL.
- Build and enhance React 19 / TanStack Start apps, sharing logic across platforms.
- Manage mobile CI/CD, automated builds, OTA updates, crash monitoring, and tests.

Job requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of hands-on React Native development.
- Proven experience delivering at least one production mobile app to App Store/Play Store.
- Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
- Hands-on experience with offline-first mobile apps (SQLite, WatermelonDB or similar).
- REST/RPC APIs, SQL, authentication, and authorization.
- Experience with iOS/Android development tooling (Xcode, Gradle, app store deployment).
- Excellent written communication and collaboration with distributed teams.
